Common QuestionsWhat is the video output?
The base package has component HD out (RGB). We can build custom video boxes with have HD-SDI out or HDMI out as well. You can also buy an external converter to convert to HD-SDI or HDMI as an accessory.
How do I record the video?
The video can be recorded to any recording device that accepts component HD or HD SDI video. A common recorder is the NanoFlash recorder by Convergent Design.
How do I control the camera functions?
A handheld keypad style controller allows you to control all critical funtions of the camera such as zoom, gain, ICR, and focus.
Why not just use a traditional handheld HD camera?
Price is a big consideration when considering an HD POV camera. However, there are many applications when a HD POV camera is the only camera that will work for the job at hand.
